Most of us try our best to give to those in need, although it can be challenging when we ourselves face financial or physical obstacles. Kim – local realestate agent, mum, wife and all round wonderful yogi, doesn’t live a simple life by any means, but her desire to give back to the local community is paramount to her. So when Kim approached me about donating a term of yoga to someone in need, we decided to collaborate and created our very own Scholarship Pass.
This pass offers a term of free weekly yoga classes, generously donated by Kim. It’s a chance for someone in need to spend an hour each week focusing on their physical and mental wellbeing through guided yoga, meditation and relaxation.
The scholarship is available for my weekly classes as well as my specialised 6-week workshop, Therapeutic Yoga for Those Affected by Cancer, starting in 2024.
As a qualified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, I am trained in trauma informed clinical yoga and safe facilitation of classes, so all my students can feel welcome and taken care of during their private or group yoga session.
Kim and I are both mothers and wives with extremely supportive and loving families, and we’d love to be able to pass on some of that nurturing and support to someone else.
