A useful definition

Meditation is noticing—not winning.

Thoughts arriving does not mean you have failed at meditation. The practice is learning to recognise them, make a little room around them and choose how much attention they receive.

With repetition, these small moments of noticing can support a more skilful relationship with your inner world—less hijacking, more choice, and perhaps the occasional quiet patch between mental committee meetings.

You will leave with

  • A small collection of guided practices
  • Ways to work with distraction kindly
  • Ideas for creating a realistic home practice
  • A clearer sense of what supports you
