Rest & Restore mini-retreat
A little afternoon with nowhere else to be.
Gentle yoga, crystal sound bowls, calming percussion and enough quiet to let the week loosen its grip.
Tea and something sweet are also involved. We take restoration seriously.

90 minutes
to move, listen and properly exhale.
A gift of time
Rest, restore and let the bowls do the talking.
This welcoming mini-retreat begins with gentle yoga before settling into a sound-bowl and percussion relaxation. It is carefully designed by Heather Robbins, yoga teacher and certified C-IAYT yoga therapist, to help your whole self feel rested, nurtured and renewed.
The session is held in the cosy Anglican Parish Hall in Shelley. There is time to arrive, move at your own pace, receive the sound and finish with a warm cuppa and sweet treat from local favourite Rustico Gourmet Grocer.
Come as you are
Designed for real bodies and busy brains.
- Complete beginners are welcome

The sound experience
No two sessions sound quite the same.
Heather works with a vibrant collection of 99% quartz crystal bowls and complementary percussion instruments. The tones respond to the room and the people gathered, creating a unique soundscape each time.
The resonant waves of sound and vibration offer space for deep rest, nervous-system ease and a steadier sense of connection. You do not need to concentrate, perform or understand what key anything is in.
“I couldn’t believe that 40 minutes had passed.”
Mini-retreat guest
Another guest described the bowls moving around the room like ocean waves arriving and receding.
