"My therapeutic yoga services offer my clients an accessible, individualised and collaborative modality that assists them to address specific health concerns and goals. Clients gain practical health and well-being tools leaving them feeling empowered.
I feel grateful to "walk" that path alongside them."Heather, C-IAYT - Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Anyone can seek out the assistance of a C-IAYT, Yoga Therapist. You do not need prior knowledge of yoga or to have even attended a yoga class.
It compliments all other healthcare modalities, that you may already be accessing, to help improve and bring about lasting health and well-being changes. My therapeutic yoga services can assist you at various stages of your health and well-being journey.
These may include the following:
My yoga therapy sessions are held in the safe and comfortable environment of my own home. Ideally clients attend a small number of appointments, with the plan to transition to a community class or continue to practice on their own at home.
Initial Assessment
For your first visit, we spend 90 minutes together allowing for time to discuss your individual needs and goals. Based on the topics and desired outcomes covered, I design a yoga informed plan tailored just for you.
Follow-up Consultations
Each subsequent session is 60 minutes. We continue to refine your own tailored practices which you can then continue with the intention for you to continue on your own and possibly begin or continue to attend community yoga classes.
See below for my package options.

I have practiced yoga for almost 22 years and have trained in all aspects of yoga teaching & yoga therapy for the last 10 years.
Bowel Disease Sufferer
I too have suffered illness and disease diagnosis. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2015 and since then I have used both western medical interventions alongside therapeutic yoga to assist the management of my symptoms. I have since regained confidence & strength and in 2020 I started to teach myself how to run. Since then I have entered my first triathlon and other trail running events. My motivation is not to be fast but keep my body/mind strong & well.
Offering yoga to those in need.
I am also passionate about offering subsidised/free yoga to those in need. I am the official yoga teacher at Fiona Stanley Hospital, offering weekly, subsidised classes to the health care workers. I also offer a complimentary term pass called my ‘Community Pass’. It offers women, who have escaped domestic violence, free weekly yoga classes thanks to the collaboration of local Real-estate Agent & Yogi – Kim Liew and Zonta House Refuge Association.
